Lombardy Poplars is a rarely seen watercolour by Eric Ravilious. The work has been in private ownership since the year it was painted, 1935. This high quality limited edition giclee print of the original watercolour was first produced in 2008 to fundraise for the building of the new Towner Gallery which opened in April 2009. A small run of 160 prints were sold at the time. To mark Towner's recent move to charitable trust status in July 2014, we are delighted to re-launch this edition. All profits of the sales go towards supporting Towner's work, helping us bring the most exciting contemporary art to Towner, develop our collection and deliver our award-winning education programme.
This high quality giclee print is from a limited edition of 500 and is printed to an exceptional standard on Fine Art watercolour paper, using eight colour Ultra Chrome K3 pigment inks.
